Hello Rowing Enthusiasts!

We want to invite you to explore the possibilities of rowing with Northern Michigan Rowing Club. Our club rows out of two locations on beautiful Glen Lake at the Glen Lake Yacht Club and South Lake Leelanau at Solon Twp Park. We have grown from just 6 members at the start of 2021 to over 45 by the end of 2022. We are looking for more active, outdoor enthusiasts to join our crew in 2023.

We are a young organization but we have a dedicated group of volunteer member leaders. Our mission is to promote and provide recreational and competitive rowing opportunities and instruction to people of all ages, income levels, and physical abilities throughout Northern Michigan.

Three Ways to Learn about NMRC:

  1. We are hosting our first membership meeting and social on April 12th, 6-8pm at Solon Twp Hall in Cedar. We’ll be reconnecting and answering questions about our upcoming season. Please join us if you are able to attend.

  2. Communication is a priority for our club. We put out weekly email newsletters to help communicate with our membership and our supporters to keep everyone informed. Please sign up for our newsletter on our website https://www.northernmichiganrowing.club/. Go to “Stay in the Loop” at the bottom of any page. You will find photos and up to date information about our membership there as well.

  3. We are on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. You can subscribe and get connected with our social media as well!

We are happy to answer any questions you might have via email.  Our email is row@northernmichiganrowing.club. Please forward this email to anyone you think might also be interested.

Thank you for considering joining and supporting Northern Michigan Rowing!

Sincerely,

NMRC Board Members
