Meet & Greet at Glen Lake Yacht Club

This Sunday, July 10th at 6-7pm, there will be a meet & greet at the Glen Lake location (Glen Lake Yacht Club, 6617 Sunset Drive in Glen Arbor). For those unfamiliar with this location, we will show you around, talk about currently available programming, and ask about your interests. We will also show you a nearby site where you can launch your own single to join a class. When you arrive at the club, walk around either side to the lake deck. BYO anything you want to eat or drink or share. Any questions, call Diane Hamilton, 847-217-0675.

Open Row after Meet & Greet
Also this Sunday, July 10th at 7-9pm, the GL gathering will be followed by an open row in singles and doubles (winds permitting — right now it looks questionable). At GL, open rows include a coach in a safety launch with minimal coaching. If you are interested, sign up on iCrew.

*Note on Glen Lake Open Row Sessions: They function differently on confirmations/cancellations than Solon. We don’t need to worry about filling boats, but do need to worry about filling classes and using small boats in high winds. So, please sign up for all GL sessions at lease 12 hours in advance. You will hear from the coach if a session needs to be cancelled for any reason. Otherwise, just show up!
