Hi NMRC,

This will be a short update with a couple reminders on upcoming events.

Winter Storage:

We are still looking for winter storage for our large trailer filled with boats and launches. We have one lead but are continuing our search for options to keep our boats safe this winter. if you have a lead, please let us know. The launches are much smaller and could fit in a smaller garage or pole barn if someone has some extra space.

Member Meet-Up:

Reminder- We will be having a casual meet up at Bel Lago winery tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept 13th at 5:30pm. We would love to have members get together to enjoy some camaraderie as the season winds down.

Glen Lake News:

Fall Sculling- Nothing on the schedule this week due to the forecast but please check your email for an update if the weather cooperates and we can schedule something.

For the rest of the season, all classes will be “All Levels.” Our coaches will tailor each class to those in attendance.

Save the date — September 30, 3pm-?, Glen Lake Boat Storage and Social. 

Let's all pitch in to get the Glen Lake sculling boats put away for the season. It’s a great way to get some volunteer hours and have fun with other club members. We will row the club shells to a nearby launch, load them onto cars, and move them into nearby winter storage. When we’re finished, we will gather to socialize and celebrate another fun season (details TBD).

Solon Township News:

We still have 2-3 seats available on Monday night for the 8+ team boat. If you can make it for one Monday night, let Mindy know by text or call.
